Who We  Are

The NZ Latin Community Development Trust was born from the shared dream of uniting the Latin community in New Zealand. Recognizing the challenges of preserving heritage while adapting to a new environment, the Trust was established in 2024 to bridge these gaps.

Our founders, inspired by the rich diversity of Latin America, sought to create a platform where cultural pride and support systems could coexist. Through cultural events, educational programs, and community engagement, we aim to provide a space where Latin identity is celebrated and opportunities are created for everyone to thrive.

From humble beginnings, our Trust now represents a beacon of unity and resilience for Latin individuals and families, fostering connections and inspiring generations to embrace their culture while contributing to New Zealand's multicultural landscape.

Our vision is to build a Latin community in New Zealand that is recognized for its unity, empowerment, and positive contributions to society. We envision a future where the rich cultural heritage of Latin America is not only preserved but also shared and valued as an essential part of New Zealand’s multicultural fabric.
